The first step in skin rejuvenation
Skin rejuvenation is an umbrella term. Pigmentation, uneven texture, fine lines, dehydration and acne scars are different concerns. Assessment of the concern and skin characteristics comes first.
Choosing an approach
After examination, skin care, mesotherapy, energy-based procedures or other options may be discussed. Using every method in one session is unnecessary. First establish which concern the plan addresses.
Suitability and limitations
Active skin disease, medicines, earlier procedures and sun exposure can affect the plan. Redness, irritation, pigment changes or scarring are assessed according to the method.
Care and monitoring
Daily care, sun protection and follow-up should be explained for the selected method. Ask about the expected change, recovery and restrictions on daily activities. Individual skin responses differ.
Questions before your visit
How will the consultation assess pigmentation, uneven texture and skin-care needs? How will any change be monitored, and what alternatives include having no procedure?
Risks and limitations
Risks depend on the product, method and treatment area. Natural, biological or nonsurgical does not mean risk-free. A published study may involve a different product, dose or route from the proposed procedure. Clarify with your clinician which use the evidence actually supports.
Care and follow-up
Bring a list of medicines and supplements, dates of previous procedures and product details if available. Do not change prescribed treatment on your own. Ask for written care instructions, a follow-up date and a contact route if a problem occurs. Session numbers, duration and outcomes require an individual assessment.
